Privacy Notice
Wise Choice Tax Solutions, LLC — Last updated: October 20, 2026
At Wise Choice Tax Solutions, LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), we respect the privacy of everyone who visits our website or contacts us. This Privacy Notice explains what information we collect through wisechoice.tax (the "Site"), how we use it, and your choices. It covers website interactions only.
1. Information You Provide to Us
Contact Form
When you submit the "Send a Message" form on our Contact page, we collect your name, email address, optional phone number, the service you are interested in, and your message. That submission is delivered to our Airo Inbox and generates an email notification to info@wisechoice.tax. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry.
Booking Requests
When you click "Book a Discovery Call" or "Book a Call," you are directed to a scheduling page operated by GoHighLevel / LeadConnector (api.leadconnectorhq.com). Any information you provide there is collected by GoHighLevel under their privacy policy, which also applies to their processing of that information. We receive the booking details in order to confirm and conduct the appointment, and we remain responsible for our own use of the information we receive.
Webinar and Event Registration
If you register for a webinar or event we host, we collect your name, email address, and phone number through GoHighLevel / LeadConnector. We use this information to send you confirmation and reminder messages by email and text. GoHighLevel's privacy policy also applies to their processing of registration data. We remain responsible for our own use of that information.
To stop receiving text messages from us, reply STOP to any text message we send. For help, reply HELP or contact us at info@wisechoice.tax or 469-923-8720.
Client Intake and Document Uploads
Our Secure Client Intake Portal is hosted by Cognito Forms (cognitoforms.com). When you complete an intake form or upload documents through that portal, your information is collected and stored by Cognito Forms under their privacy policy, which also applies to their processing. We receive and use that information to provide tax preparation and related services, and we remain responsible for our own use of it.
2. Information Collected Automatically
Platform Analytics (GoDaddy / Airo)
This Site is built on the GoDaddy Airo platform. GoDaddy's platform analytics script (Signals / C2) is loaded on every page as part of the hosting infrastructure. When you visit the Site, this script may collect information such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, and how you interact with the Site.
A cookie consent banner appears on your first visit. If you accept optional analytics, click-event data (such as which buttons or links you click) is also collected. If you decline, click-event collection is disabled. However, declining optional click tracking does not necessarily stop all platform-level logging — GoDaddy's infrastructure may still log standard server request data (IP addresses, page requests, timestamps) as part of normal hosting operations, regardless of your consent choice.
Browser Storage
We use browser localStorage to store your analytics consent preference, which expires after 365 days. This is the mechanism that controls whether optional click-event collection is enabled or disabled on return visits. When your stored preference expires, the consent banner will reappear automatically.
You can also change your preference at any time using the Cookie Preferences button in the footer of every page. Clicking it immediately disables optional click-event collection, clears your saved preference, and reopens the consent banner so you can make a new choice.
3. Third-Party Services
The following third-party services are used on or in connection with this Site. Each operates under its own privacy policy, which also applies to their processing of information collected through our use of their services:
| Service | Purpose | Privacy Policy |
|---|---|---|
| GoDaddy / Airo | Website hosting and platform analytics | godaddy.com/…/privacy-policy |
| GoHighLevel / LeadConnector | Appointment scheduling and webinar communications | gohighlevel.com/privacy-policy |
| Cognito Forms | Secure client intake forms and document uploads | cognitoforms.com/privacy |
We do not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta/Facebook Pixel, TikTok Pixel, or other advertising or behavioral tracking services of our own.
4. How We Use the Information We Collect
- Respond to your inquiries and messages
- Confirm and conduct scheduled appointments
- Send webinar and event confirmations and reminders
- Provide tax preparation and related professional services
- Operate and maintain the Site
We do not sell contact information or share it with other businesses for their own marketing purposes.
5. How We Share Information
We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described in this notice or as follows:
- Service providers acting on our behalf (GoHighLevel, Cognito Forms, GoDaddy) as described in Section 3
- As required by law, such as in response to a valid legal process, court order, or government request
- To protect rights and safety, where we believe disclosure is necessary to prevent harm or enforce our policies
- In connection with a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition, where website inquiry information may be transferred as a business asset
The sharing provisions above apply to website inquiry and registration data collected through this Site. They do not authorize disclosure of tax-return information or client files. Any sharing of tax-client records is governed separately by applicable professional standards and federal tax law, including restrictions under the Internal Revenue Code and IRS Circular 230.
6. Tax-Client Records
This Privacy Notice covers information collected through the Site. Tax-preparation records, financial documents, and client files that you share with us in the course of receiving our professional services are handled separately, subject to applicable professional standards, IRS requirements, and federal tax law restrictions on use and disclosure. If you have questions about how your tax records are handled, please contact us directly.
7. Data Retention
Website inquiries and webinar registrations: We will review these records annually and consider deleting them after 12 months without contact, unless an ongoing relationship, business need, or legal obligation requires longer retention.
SMS consent and opt-out records: These are maintained separately and are not subject to the 12-month schedule above.
Tax-client records: This retention schedule does not apply to tax-preparation records, client files, or related professional records, which are retained in accordance with applicable professional and legal requirements.
8. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information you provide to us. However, no website or internet transmission is completely secure. We encourage you to use our designated Secure Client Intake Portal for sensitive tax information rather than the general contact form.
9. Children's Privacy
Our Site is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information to us through the Site, please contact us at info@wisechoice.tax and we will address it promptly.
10. Links to Other Websites
Our Site contains links to third-party websites and services, including GoHighLevel and Cognito Forms. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing any information.
11. Your Choices
Analytics consent: A consent banner appears on your first visit. You may decline optional click-event tracking at that time. Your choice is stored in your browser for up to 365 days, after which the banner will reappear automatically. To change your preference at any time, use the Cookie Preferences button in the footer of every page — clicking it immediately disables optional click-event collection, clears your saved preference, and reopens the consent banner.
Text message opt-out: Reply STOP to any text message we send to stop receiving texts. Reply HELP or contact us at info@wisechoice.tax or 469-923-8720 for assistance.
Access or deletion: To request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you have submitted through the Site, contact us using the information in Section 13.
12. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Notice periodically.
